The Carnival Continues For Five Star Juventus – Italian ‘Serie A’ Football FanCast 149
The Italian Football FanCast is the podcast for fans of Serie A and Calcio.
On this edition of the Italian Football FanCast, Dov Schiavone, Ogo Sylla, Clark Stupple and Serie A Weekly’s Ryan Ross, plus special guest Giancarlo Rinaldi.
The issues tackled this week include a look at Juventus’ return to form in their five-goal rout of Fiorentina. We touch upon the repercussions for La Viola and how they will bounce back from what can only be described as humiliation.
Also, with Mirko Vucinic back to form, what will the win mean for the Bianconeri’s Scudetto challenge?
We also cast our eye over another victory for AC Milan, this time over Parma but once more inspired by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who can even be a genius when he stands still.
Meanwhile, Udinese and Napoli played out a fantastic match at the Stadio Friuli on Sunday evening, with Edinson Cavani showing a touch of class, and Diego Fabbrini possibly costing his side victory.
Elsewhere, Roma earned another win, this time at home to Genoa, which leaves then well placed to make a late surge for the Champions League spots. In addition Pablo Osvaldo looks to be returning to some sort of form.
Inter continued their poor run of form with a disappointing 0-0 draw at the San Siro with Atalanta. Andrea Consigli was in fine form as well as Manolo Gabbiadini, who could have a bright future in Serie A.
All this and a whole lot more will be answered in this weeks show, plus we have Kevin Tarbuck who will bring us all up-to-date on the happenings in Serie B.
Don’t forget to make a sizeable donation to the guys at Ingenio Store who will be walking 180 miles in four days visiting 16 football grounds in the North-West of England, all in aid of Sport Relief. You can do so here… www.justgiving.com/ingenio
